When I first trialled this blend for The Massage Company in my Brighton clinic the response couldn’t have been more perfect! ‘I feel…focused, energetic and somewhat…(pause)’ I stepped in and suggested ‘motivated..?’ ‘Yes that’s it motivated!’ I had to smile the outcome couldn’t have been better and I had not let on my intention for the synergy of oils.

So, continuing the series of the branded Aromatherapy oils for The Massage Company, M for Massage, M for Motivation! This blend is about uplifting mood, energising and enabling focus. Designed for those who are feeling frustrated, stressed, congested and who have lost clarity. In addition your skin will look equally energised and bright!

The Motivation blend tackles another side of stress which can trigger tension and sleepless nights which are catered for with T & C blends but M is about reviving and is a real tonic.

Let’s start with the ingredients:

Carrier base oils – Flax, Sunflower & Wheatgerm

Essential oils – Bay, Mandarin Red & Lemon Eucalyptus

Dominating oils – Sunflower, Flax & Mandarin Red

The story – Capture for a moment a nostalgic pack of Opal Fruits, pick out the yellow, green & orange and there you have motivation!

Sunflower oil rich in ADE vitamins and the minerals of Iron, Potassium, Phosphorus, Calcium & Zinc leaving the skin softened and moisturised.

Flax (also known as Linseed) aids nutrition of the brain and Vitamin E arises again to nourish.

Wheatgerm gives a richer texture due to a high Vitamin E content and forms a natural preservative.

Bay, a magic ingredient for a warming bowl of stew is by far one of my favourite ‘herby’ aromas and so complimenting to so many blends I create. It’s warmth, stimulation and reviving qualities are due to its decongesting camphorus elements – clearing for the mind and boosting for memory!

Mandarin Red is a sharp and sweet citrus aroma that is so uplifting ad sends you right back into holiday mode.

Lemon Eucalyptus makes the ‘disinfectant’ smell disappear and in it’s place is one of lemon sherbet yet still retains its cleansing qualities, energises and refreshes the mind.

Next blog will be the story of C!
