Don’t worry for lovers of Marmite I will not deviate from the original and for those who hate it, rest assured I haven’t recreated the smell in Aromatherapy!

But, there are oils in my box that clients really like and dislike but there’s one in particular that is mentioned on the dislike list on many occasions, can you guess what it might be..?

It’s floral…

It’s sweet…

It’s heady…

It’s strong and heavy in scent…

It balances the hormones…

Eases an oily skin complexion…

It’s Geranium (Pelargonium Graveolens) a great find in Egypt or South Africa and yet seen abundantly adding colour to many a pot or hanging basket. Yet, for many it’s a distinct no no! I do love a challenge and if at all possible and relevant to the client I like to create synergies that surprise and that add to curiosity. Many of my blends are met with an mmmmmm thats nice, what is it? When I share the blend creation they often say they wouldn’t normally choose them but that they really like it. So in the essence of sharing is caring and it’s nice to share knowledge. Would you like to know my secret synergy that is a simple way to rebuild a friendship with the floral note of Geranium well, it’s just to unite it with a few drops of Spearmint. It’s refreshingly floral rather than heady and you might just like it, try it and see.

It’s a lovely addition to a shower gel and seek it out in skincare if your skin needs it – the ideal skin being Mature & Oily – balance the skin/balance the hormones
